Praz sur Arly is perfect for beginners and intermediates, with lots of pretty runs through the woods, and an excellent selection of cross country routes to boot. Those looking for more challenges can amuse themselves by skiing in the rest of the Espace Diamant area which includes the resorts of Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe, Les Saisies, Crest-Volant and Flumet, making up 154 runs for all abilities.

Residence Les Ecrins, located in the centre of Praz sur Arly, is perfect for a ski break. 

After a long day on the slopes, there is an enticing collection of traditional restaurants to choose from, as well as some welcoming bars. Those still craving action could try snowshoeing, paragliding, quad biking or walking. For a really unique way to experience the area, however, a trip in hot air balloon is an absolute must. If you are looking for something more in the way of nightlife, nearby Megève has a lively pub and club scene, along with a casino, swimming pool and bowling alley.
