The Three Valleys is the largest ski area in the world with 600km of runs and more than 200 lifts. This area is home to 8 resorts, all linked by efficient ski lifts and slopes.
Skiing in the Three Valleys
You will enjoy skiing and discover in the same time beautiful landscapes and panoramas stretching from the Mont Blanc massif to the Swiss and Italian Alps. With its perfect location, the majority of the slopes are sunny all the day. 85% of the slopes are located above 1800 metres, the Three Valleys area provides a good snow quality from the beginning of December until the end of April.
The area is home to 330 slopes including 53 green, 123 blue, 118 red and 34 black. The Three Valleys area is perfect for beginners and experts as well with around 50% of easy slopes and 50% of expert slopes. There are plenty of off-piste opportunities, supervised by professionals. With the Three Valleys ski pass, you can ski to the entire three valleys and explore new runs and resorts every day. The ski pass cover Courchevel, La Tania, Meribel, Meribel-Mottaret, Brides Les Bains, Les Menuires, St Martin de Belleville, Val Thorens and Orelle.
The area owns an efficient lift network which guarantees less waiting time and more skiing. This ski area is highly rated by snowboarders thanks to its 9 snow parks.
The Resorts
There are three linked valleys: Courchevel on one side, Meribel in the middle and Val Thorens on the other side. Each resort has this own atmosphere, so it’s ideal for a ski break. After a ski day, The Three Valleys offer you the possibility to try different activities to have a great time like winter walking tracks, ice skating, dog sleigh rides, scenic flights…

All ten villages have their own unique atmosphere, complete with shops, bars and restaurants. The free shuttle bus service makes easy work of getting from one village to the other.
