The location of Chalet Val 2400 makes it incredibly easy to explore all of this and more, with many of the most popular hiking trails located just a few hundred metres away.
The views from the chalets are incredible all year round, and in summer guests can enjoy a green, mountainous landscape that's covered with colourful plants, animals and thick forestry.

The Apartments

The building has been designed in a classic Savoyard, wooden style and suits its unspoiled surroundings perfectly.
The 27 apartments which make up these chalets all offer ample amounts of space. These apartments come with cosy living rooms, large balconies overlooking the stunning resort and each apartments come with an old-fashioned Austrian wood-burning stove, a bag of wood is offered at the arrival.
To add to the sense of rustic luxury, the property offers a range of services such as a relaxation area with a sauna room and a hammam. The apartments have free wifi and a TV. Sheets and towels are provided and beds are made upon arrival. Guest can find bathrobes at the reception. A cleaning pack is provided and the end-of-stay cleaning is included.
The residence has a luggage room, ski lockers with boot dryer, and a covered car park (to be paid extra).
Guest can rent for free baby cots and high chairs at the reception, as well as raclette and fondue appliances.

Board Options

The chalets' close proximity to the shops in the village centre, along with the modern, fully furnished kitchenettes (dishwasher, microwave, cooker with oven and ceramic hob, fridge-freezer, toaster, percolator, etc.) in each apartment mean that guests can enjoy cooking their own meals in their self-catered property.
Guests can also arrange with the reception of the chalet to have freshly baked breads and pastries delivered to their apartment every morning. The onsite pub, the Red Fox, is not only a great place to meet and socialise but also serves tasty snacks including pizza and pies.

Activities

Sports like tennis, paintball, mini golf and archery are all great ways to have fun out in the sunshine on Val Thorens summer holidays. For a fast-paced way to see the summery surroundings, visitors can try out quad biking and speed mountain rides, but to take it all in at a slightly slower pace, try out hiking or mountain biking along the mountain trails. Water sports enthusiasts can take to the thawed rivers and lakes of the Alps and enjoy fishing, rafting and canoeing while animal lovers should visit the Val Thorens donkey farm or the high mountain pastures.

Things to see

In Val Thorens there are plenty of chances for sightseeing days out and cultural excursions. The region is steeped in history which can be explored in the traditional, unchanged villages of St Martin de Belleville where village fetes and quaint events are held throughout summer. The Burdin Mill is an ancient mill which has been fully restored to working order and is a must-see for anyone interested in the industrial history of France.

Late Arrival

Please inform the reception or the reservations centre in advance and we will advise you of the late arrival procedure.

Key Collection

Check in (after 6pm) onwards. The keys are available at the reception on presentation of your voucher

Deposit

Upon arrival, you have to pay a deposit of 500 Eur (Visa, Mastercard, French Cheque) for your property. This will be returned to you within 15 days of your departure assuming there are no charges for breakages.

Cleaning

End of Stay Cleaning is included in the accommodation price (excluding kitchen, dishes, balcony and bins)

Payment conditions

Ski France offers 3 options for payment:

1) Pay in 3 instalments: 10% deposit at the time of booking, 10% two months before the date of arrival and the remaining balance one month before the date of arrival. This method of payment is only available for bookings made by telephone more than 70 days before the stay.
2) Pay in two instalments: 10% deposit at the time of booking and payment of the remaining balance 30 days before the date of arrival. This method of payment is only available when the booking is made more than 31 days before the arrival date.
3) Pay in 1 instalment: pay the full amount at the time of booking and receive a discount of 15 GBP on the overall price of the stay. This method of payment is valid for stays of 7 nights or more, booked more than 40 days before arrival and for a minimum purchase of 150 GBP.

- Any extras added more than 30 days prior to arrival will be added to the final payment
- Any extras added after the final payment to be paid at the time of addition to booking.
- If the booking was made under the 'non refundable' terms, the total amount will be debited at the time of the booking (the discount of 15 GBP is not available on these prices).

Methods of payment accepted:
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, cheques*, holiday vouchers*.
*(only for reservations made more than a month before arrival).
For payments desired by cheque or holiday vouchers the deposit must be paid by way of debit/credit card - Visa, Mastercard, American Express and the second and/or third payment can be made by cheque or holiday voucher.
Arrival date less than 40 days: The total amount of the booking must be paid in full online, by debit/credit card at the time of booking.

Cancellation conditions

If you choose Standard Conditions

If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
-Between 30 days and 15 days before arrival: 25% of the price of the holiday
-Between 14 days and 9 days before arrival: 50% of the price of the holiday
-Between 8 days and 3 days before arrival: 75% of the price of the holiday
-Less than 2 days before arrival: 100% of the price of the holiday

- If you choose Free Cancellation Conditions

If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
-More than 30 days before the arrival date: repayment of the deposit
-Between 30 days and the date of arrival: 100% of the total price will be retained.
-No show: the total price of the reservation will be retained

- If you choose Non Refundable Conditions

As part of the low price non-refundable offer, in the case of a cancellation you will be invoiced for the total amount at any time
