Location

Chalet Dharkoum Kalo is an elegant 5 bedroom chalet apartment in the tranquil and exclusive neighbourhood of Courchevel 1850. The chalet is virtually ski in ski out as the Bellecote piste, a gentle green, is just a short walk across the road. The town centre is a pleasant 15 minute walk away so once the slopes close for the day, you can head down to enjoy some of the local cuisine in the bustling restaurants and bars or peruse the selection of boutiques dotted along the picturesque streets.

The Chalet

Chalet Dharkoum Kalo is a cosy chalet apartment spread over 2 floors with 5 bedrooms, sleeping up to 10 guests.

Entrance is on the ground floor where you will find a bright and spacious open plan living and dining area with a roaring fireplace and a TV, the perfect space for a cosy night in with friends and family. The dining room features large windows so you can dine against the backof the beautiful alpine scenery. Next door is the kitchen, fully equipped with everything you need for whipping up a pre-ski breakfast or preparing a feast to entertain your guests in the evenings. The property features a wrap-around balcony so you can step out to appreciate the enchanting views over the Bozel Valley.

On the lower floor, you will find a TV room as well as a ski room equipped with boot warmers, so you can slip on a toasty pair of boots as you head off to the slopes in the morning.

On the ground floor, you'll find the first 2 bedrooms, both double with en-suite bathrooms and WCs. The remaining 3 bedrooms are located on the lower floor and are all twins, accompanied by 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs. All bedrooms have flat screen TVs.

If you are driving to the chalet, there is space in front of the chalet for dropping off bags, then there are some free parking spaces along the road outside the chalet, although please note these are limited. There are also several covered car parking options available in the resort, the closest being the Bellecote parking and another at La Croisette, both with a large number of spaces.

There is free WIFI throughout the chalet, ideal for if you need to keep on top of emails or stream your favourite show while you are away.

We include: beds made on arrival, fridges stocked*, bath robes and slippers, mid-week and end of stay cleaning, satellite TV & free WIFI access in the chalet...

*If you choose our contactless catering option, then food and drink are included in the cost. We will supply you with breakfast every day, afternoon tea and snacks, pre-dinner nibbles, plus a three course dinner on six of the seven nights, which also includes unlimited red and white wine and a few beers.
*If you choose our à la carte catering option, food and drink are not included in the chalet price. You order and pay for provisions a few days before the start of your holiday, we will deliver and stock your chalet ready for your arrival.

Your chalet will be ready on arrival - beds made, dinner ready and fridges stocked*, wine-cellars replenished, skis and lift passes all booked. But you won't see us. We'll be at the end of the phone, but there will be no contact, unless you need it. You and your family will be safe and looked-after, as we work in the background, providing everything you need.

3 Valleys ski area

The Courchevel Valley itself comprises five villages and lays claim to 150km of alpine runs - an impressive ski area in its own right. Access is first-class, with a total of 58 lifts. The resort is popular due to its diversity and north-facing aspect, which contributes some of the best ski conditions in the entire 3 Valleys ski area.

Activities

Aside from evening entertainment, Courchevel offers all the winter activities you'd expect of a resort of this size. Hiking excursions, helicopter tours and spa packages are all available. Plus there's an ice skating rink and bowling alley. Impressive Aquamotion swimming pool, spa and wellness centre in Courchevel 1550.

Courchevel 1850

The superb winter sports destination of Courchevel lies at the eastern end of the famous 3 Valleys ski area. Aside from world-renowned skiing, Courchevel is popular for its range of nightlife and après-ski options. With many wealthy visitors, especially from Russia, the resort has a number of boutique shops and Michelin-starred restaurants. Visitors looking for an elegant cocktail can head to a sophisticated but simple piano bar, there's a great choice of wine bars. Those looking for laid-back beers, open fires, or live bands should head to Courchevel Moriond (1650) , Courchevel Village (1550) or La Tania for the classic après-ski scene. Jump on the free bus from 1850 or even better, finish skiing in one of the other villages and catch the bus home at the end of the party.

Payment Conditions

Ski France offers 3 options for payment:

1) Pay in 3 installments if booked more than 70 days prior to arrival:
- 15% deposit at time of booking, 15% payment 60 days prior to arrival & 70% payment 30 days prior to arrival.
2) Pay in 2 installments if booked more than 30 days prior to arrival:
- 30% deposit at time of booking & 70% payment 30 days prior to arrival.
3) Pay in 1 payment (always available and obligatory if booked less than 30 days prior to arrival)
- 100% at time of booking

Additional Extras:
- Any extras added more than 30 days prior to arrival will be added to final payment
- Any extras added after final payment to be paid at time of addition to booking

Cancellation Policy

If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:

- More than 30 days before the date of arrival: 30% of the price of the holiday
- Between 30 and 21 days prior to arrival date: 45% of total accommodation cost
- Between 20 and 8 days prior to arrival date: 60% of total accommodation cost
- Between 7 and 4 days prior to arrival date: 90% of total accommodation cost
- 3 days or less prior to the arrival date: 100% of total accommodation cost
