The resort
Located in Savoie, north of the Vanoise National Park, the Les Arcs ski resort, perched above Bourg Saint-Maurice, was established in the late 1960s. Since then, from 810 to 3800 meters in altitude, Bourg-Saint-Maurice, Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950, and Arc 2000 have welcomed visitors both in summer and winter. On the agenda: skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, fresh air, vast spaces, serenity, and newfound freedom!
Les Arcs is distinguished by five unique sites, each with its own spirit and atmosphere:
Bourg-Saint-Maurice: A paradise for contemplatives with its typical villages, local crafts, and gastronomic tradition.
Arc 1600: The original site, modern, friendly, and warm, with innovative architecture blending into the mountain landscape.
Arc 1800: Everything within reach: shopping, dancing, relaxing... Discover a 360° panorama with Mont-Blanc as a backdrop.
Arc 1950: 5-star residences where charm, luxury, and indulgence reign, in a festive and warm atmosphere, with continuous entertainment.
Arc 2000: Guaranteed snow and slopes, with gentle slopes for beginners and thrilling descents for enthusiasts, as well as an Olympic KL (kilometer launched) ski run open to all to test their speed.
Note: The connection between Bourg Saint Maurice and Arc 1600 is made in 7 minutes via the funicular.
The ski slopes of Les Arcs and their lift system are among the largest in France: over 100 slopes for all levels, totaling up to 200 km of marked trails, served by more than 60 lifts. The vertical offered by the Les Arcs ski area is one of the largest in Europe with 2026 meters! Additionally, by opting for the Paradiski pass, you double the skiing area by also accessing the slopes of La Plagne via the Vanoise Express cable car, totaling 425 km of slopes.
