Location

Tucked away in one of the most private yet central parts of Méribel, Chalet Arolla enjoys a quiet location amongst snowy pine forest only 2 minutes' drive from the nearest chairlift.
The nearest slopes will give you easy access to the rest of the Méribel and Les Trois Vallées ski area. Meribel is an excellent choice as it is part of the largest connected ski area in the world, Les Trois Vallées.

The Chalet

Arolla is a spacious yet intimate chalet which sleeps 10 guests in five individually decorated en-suite bedrooms, spread across three floors. The chalet blends traditional Alpine style with modern accents to stunning effect, with stylish soft furnishings and exposed wooden beams.
The chalet's bottom floor is devoted to post-ski relaxation, featuring an elegant steam room, shower and massage area. Doors lead outside to the alluring sunken hot tub on a private tree-fringed terrace. Next-door you'll find the delightful television snug, perfect for keeping little ones entertained.
Arguably the most enchanting part of Arolla, however, is its enormous top floor, comprising a generous dining area, sitting room with a striking suspended fireplace and well-stocked bar, in a convivial open-plan layout. Floor-to-ceiling picture windows let in plenty of light, while glass doors open onto a large, south-facing terrace which soaks up the afternoon sun.

What's Included?

We include: Beds made on arrival, with bath robes and slippers, mid-week and end of stay cleaning, mid-week towel change, local tourist tax, satellite TV, free wifi and firewood.

Please note that this chalet is not wheelchair accessible and would not be suitable for people with restricted mobility.

Private Shuttle

Included in your stay at Chalet Arolla is a private shuttle service for morning and afternoon transport to and from the slopes. Available every day (except arrival and departure day) between 8:30am and 10am and between 4pm and 6pm. The service is limited to 2 trips per chalet each morning and evening.

Méribel

Purpose built for skiing in 1938, Meribel is now the most centrally located resort in the huge 3 Valleys ski area. The resort is ideal for true skiers who want easy access to the pistes and the best location from which to explore all of the other valleys. Meribel offers a lively selection of bars, restaurants and shops and a buzzing apres-ski scene.

Ski Area : 3 Vallées

Méribel lies at the heart of the 3 Valleys, the world's largest ski area. With 600km of world-class pistes to explore, the extent and variety of terrain is simply staggering. The high altitudes combined with first class snow-making facilities ensures quality snow conditions throughout the season. The lift systems are modern and well designed making navigation to the neighbouring Belleville (Les Menuires and Val Thorens) and Courchevel Valleys easy. Within a few minutes from Meribel Mottaret you could be crusing the wide open bowl of Val Thorens or the long reds from the top of the Saulire into Courchevel. The 3 Valleys really does have everything and in Meribel you are in the heart of the action!

Activities

Although skiing is the main activity on a winter holiday in Méribel, there are plenty of other fantastic ways to explore the mountains and terrain. Snowmobiles provide an easy and fun way to journey through trails and forests, and paragliding is available to give you a bird's eye view of the ski area. There's also bowling, husky sledding and ice skating to enjoy.

Payment Conditions

Ski France offers 2 options for payment:

1) Pay in 2 installments if booked more than 30 days prior to arrival:
- 30% deposit at time of booking & 70% payment 30 days prior to arrival.
2) Pay in 1 payment (always available and obligatory if booked less than 30 days prior to arrival)
- 100% at time of booking

Additional Extras:
- Any extras added more than 30 days prior to arrival will be added to final payment
- Any extras added after final payment to be paid at time of addition to booking

Conditions d'annulation standard

If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:

- More than 30 days before the date of arrival: 30% of the price of the holiday
- Between 30 and 21 days prior to arrival date: 45% of total accommodation cost
- Between 20 and 8 days prior to arrival date: 60% of total accommodation cost
- Between 7 and 4 days prior to arrival date: 90% of total accommodation cost
- 3 days or less prior to the arrival date: 100% of total accommodation cost
