Le Chalet Altitude is situated five minutes on foot from the centre of Val Thorens' Balcons district and 100 metres from the ski slopes, with a free shuttle bus which runs during the day.

The property is ideally located, not just for its easy access to local amenities and ski facilities, but for its breath-taking views of Val Thorens. The residence Le Chalet Altitude consists of 20 traditionally decorated apartments, built in a classic Savoyard style. The warm, wooden interiors of these apartments are warm and welcoming, especially after a long day of skiing and exploring.
The cosy chalet offers ski in/ski out facilities, ideal for those wanting to enjoy as much time on the pistes as possible before relaxing by the fireplace in the living room in the evening. As well as this, you will find first class luxuries available in both the communal areas and in the private apartments of the residence, including a heated indoor swimming pool, a wellness centre and a pub. The chalet also features free Wi-Fi at reception and a covered car park.
The apartments of Le Chalet Altitude are self-catered. Guests are invited to make full use of the modern kitchenette facilities, including a microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher and fridge, with close proximity to the local supermarket for keeping the cupboards stocked with groceries. Freshly baked bread can be delivered to your apartment every morning for breakfast, simply order and pay at reception. Those wanting to eat out will find an exceptional selection of restaurants serving hearty French, British and other international fare in the resort.

With 140 km of pistes to be explored, you’ll find plenty to do in Val Thorens itself, as well as access to the 3 Valleys, which is the largest linked ski area in the world. The 3 Valleys is renowned for its seemingly endless terrain which is so extensive and widely varied that it is perfectly suited for every level of skiing experience. Situated at an altitude of between 1800 and 3230 metres, the 3 Valleys boasts 600km of high quality pistes of 183 green, 135 blue, 119 red and 33 black runs. This lively ski area is also famously home to some of the most stunning alpine views in France.
For adventurous holidaymakers looking for an alternative to skiing, there is no shortage of exciting activities to try in Val Thorens. Airbagging involves leaping from high falls on to a giant cushion of air and is sure to get the adrenaline pumping. Another exciting activity is ice diving, which involves scuba diving in the freezing waters of Lac du Lou and is a unique way to explore the Alpine landscape, along with paragliding and dog sledding.

Check in is from 5 pm onwards. The keys are available at the reception on presentation of your voucher.
Upon arrival, you have to pay a deposit of 500 Eu (Visa, Mastercard, French Cheque) for your property. This will be returned to you within 15 days of your departure assuming there are no charges for breakages or additional cleaning.
End of Stay Cleaning is included in the accommodation price.

- 15% deposit at time of booking, 15% payment 60 days prior to arrival & 70% payment 30 days prior to arrival
2) Pay in 2 instalments if booked more than 30 days prior to arrival:
- 30% deposit at time of booking & 70% payment 30 days prior to arrival
3) Pay in 1 payment (always available and obligatory if booked less than 30 days prior to arrival)
- 100% at time of booking
- Any extras added more than 30 days prior to arrival will be added to final payment
- Any extras added after final payment to be paid at time of addition to booking
If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
- More than 30 days prior to arrival date: 30% of total accommodation cost
- Between 30 and 21 days prior to arrival date: 45% of total accommodation cost
- Between 20 and 8 days prior to arrival date: 60% of total accommodation cost
- Between 7 and 4 days prior to arrival date: 90% of total accommodation cost
- 3 days or less prior to the arrival date: 100% of total accommodation cost
