The Apartments

The building has been designed in a classic Savoyard, wooden style and suits its unspoiled surroundings perfectly.
The 27 apartments which make up these chalets all offer ample amounts of space. These apartments come with cosy living rooms, large balconies overlooking the stunning resort and each apartments come with an old-fashioned Austrian wood-burning stove, a bag of wood is offered at the arrival.
To add to the sense of rustic luxury, the property offers a range of services such as a relaxation area with a sauna room and a hammam. The apartments have free wifi and a TV. Sheets and towels are provided and beds are made upon arrival. Guest can find bathrobes at the reception. A cleaning pack is provided and the end-of-stay cleaning is included.
The residence has a luggage room, ski lockers with boot dryer, and a covered car park (to be paid extra).
Guest can rent for free baby cots and high chairs at the reception, as well as raclette and fondue appliances.

Board Options

The chalets' close proximity to the shops in the village centre, along with the modern, fully furnished kitchenettes (dishwasher, microwave, cooker with oven and ceramic hob, fridge-freezer, toaster, percolator, etc.) in each apartment mean that guests can enjoy cooking their own meals in their self-catered property.
Guests can also arrange with the reception of the chalet to have freshly baked breads and pastries delivered to their apartment every morning. The onsite pub, the Red Fox, is not only a great place to meet and socialise but also serves tasty snacks including pizza and pies.

Ski Area

Situated at an altitude of 2300 metres, the stunning resort of Val Thorens is covered in a blanket of glistening snow throughout the winter, which makes it an ideal destination for a range of winter sports. In the resort's ski area itself you'll find 150 km of pistes and a variety of ski slopes, with 11 green, 30 blue, 31 red and eight black runs for visitors to explore. The Val Thorens ski area is a part of the huge 3 Valleys area where the pistes and slopes are in perfect skiing condition all winter long, with a range of ski cannons to keep the snow in peak condition right through until the season ends in May. The altitude of this award-winning ski area ranges from 1800 metres to 3230 metres, providing visitors with some amazing views as well as plenty of skiing opportunities for all levels and abilities, with 300 km of runs.

Activities

Aside from skiing, there are plenty of unique experiences to be had in Val Thorens during winter. Air bagging involves diving onto a giant cushion filled with air for an incredible adrenaline rush. Great ways to explore the snowy scenery include husky dog sledding, ice driving, snowmobiling and MTB biking, with this thrilling activity involving hurtling down 700 metres of icy mountainside on a mountain bike. Tobogganing and snow shoe walking are fun activities that the whole family can enjoy.

Payment conditions

Ski France offers 3 options for payment:

1) Pay in 3 instalments: 10% deposit at the time of booking, 10% two months before the date of arrival and the remaining balance one month before the date of arrival. This method of payment is only available for bookings made by telephone more than 70 days before the stay.
2) Pay in two instalments: 10% deposit at the time of booking and payment of the remaining balance 30 days before the date of arrival. This method of payment is only available when the booking is made more than 31 days before the arrival date.
3) Pay in 1 instalment: pay the full amount at the time of booking and receive a discount of 15 GBP on the overall price of the stay. This method of payment is valid for stays of 7 nights or more, booked more than 40 days before arrival and for a minimum purchase of 150 GBP.

- Any extras added more than 30 days prior to arrival will be added to the final payment
- Any extras added after the final payment to be paid at the time of addition to booking.
- If the booking was made under the 'non refundable' terms, the total amount will be debited at the time of the booking (the discount of 15 GBP is not available on these prices).

Methods of payment accepted:
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, cheques*, holiday vouchers*.
*(only for reservations made more than a month before arrival).
For payments desired by cheque or holiday vouchers the deposit must be paid by way of debit/credit card - Visa, Mastercard, American Express and the second and/or third payment can be made by cheque or holiday voucher.
Arrival date less than 40 days: The total amount of the booking must be paid in full online, by debit/credit card at the time of booking.

Cancellation conditions

If you choose Standard Conditions

If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
-Between 30 days and 15 days before arrival: 25% of the price of the holiday
-Between 14 days and 9 days before arrival: 50% of the price of the holiday
-Between 8 days and 3 days before arrival: 75% of the price of the holiday
-Less than 2 days before arrival: 100% of the price of the holiday

- If you choose Free Cancellation Conditions

If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
-More than 30 days before the arrival date: repayment of the deposit
-Between 30 days and the date of arrival: 100% of the total price will be retained.
-No show: the total price of the reservation will be retained

- If you choose Non Refundable Conditions

As part of the low price non-refundable offer, in the case of a cancellation you will be invoiced for the total amount at any time
