The Résidence Village Montana**** Premier can be found in the stunning Val Thorens resort, just five minutes from its centre. The back of stunning mountains and forests provides guests with plenty of opportunities to take part in a range of outdoor activities, with the chair lift just minutes from the property.

Apartments

Enjoy the comforts of the Résidence Village Montana**** Premier during your stay, with added touches of luxury to ensure you feel more at home. There is a satellite TV, as well as free WiFi in the complex. Bed linens and towels are provided, bed are made upon arrival and towels are changed at mid-stay.

Each of the rooms are decorated in a warm and cosy French mountain style, with warm wooden furnishings, comfortable interiors and warm colours. There are large windows in most of the rooms, ensuring guests can make the most of the pretty views over the mountains, as well as the twinkling lights of the resort during the evening.
There is also a fully equipped open-plan kitchen in each, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy the freedom of a self-catered holiday in the Alps.
Each of the apartments also has its own balcony. Each apartment has a cleaning kit and the end-of-stay cleaning is included.

All of the apartments at the Résidence Village Montana**** Premier are self-catered, meaning guests can enjoy freedom to make their own meals in the open plan kitchen, or enjoy the restaurants in the resort. Val Thorens is home to a small range of restaurants, serving delicious hearty French dishes as well as some international options. For those wanting to prepare their own meals there are local shops and small supermarkets within the resort, perfect for picking up supplies. Loan service (raclette / fondue machine, board games, iron, baby cots, high chairs...).

Activities

With access to the huge mountainous region of the 3 Valleys, there are plenty of activities for families, couples and groups in Val Thorens as well as the wider area. Ice diving is a must for those wanting to try something involving lots of adrenaline and involves diving into the crystal clear but freezing cold waters of the Lac du Lou, while airbagging will have you jumping from the falls onto an air cushion. It doesn't get much scarier than that!

For a more sedate way to explore the area there is also hiking, with snow shoes available to rent from the sports shops in the town centre. And for something the whole family can enjoy why not take everyone dog sledding on your holiday in Val Thorens?

Ski Area

The Val Thorens resort can be found at an altitude of 2300 metres, the highest ski resort in Europe, meaning the conditions are excellent throughout much of the ski season. Offering access to the largest linked ski area in the world, the 3 Valleys ski area, this is ideal for keen skiers looking for a challenge, as well as newbies looking to learn. There is a range of ski schools to choose from, with almost all of the instructors speaking both French and English, as well as an excellent selection of terrain in the 3 Valleys. The 3 Valleys is situated at an altitude of 1800 m to 3230 m and offers visitors over 600 km of well looked after slopes. There are 11 green runs, 30 blue, 31 red and 8 black slopes to choose from, as well as plenty of off-piste trails. And with stunning views from the top, you'll want to take the chair lift up again and again.

Payment Conditions

Ski France offers 3 options for payment:

1) Pay in 3 instalments: 10% deposit at the time of booking, 10% two months before the date of arrival and the remaining balance one month before the date of arrival. This method of payment is only available for bookings made by telephone more than 70 days before the stay.
2) Pay in two instalments: 10% deposit at the time of booking and payment of the remaining balance 30 days before the date of arrival. This method of payment is only available when the booking is made more than 31 days before the arrival date.
3) Pay in 1 instalment: pay the full amount at the time of booking and receive a discount of 15 GBP on the overall price of the stay. This method of payment is valid for stays of 7 nights or more, booked more than 40 days before arrival and for a minimum purchase of 150 GBP.

- Any extras added more than 30 days prior to arrival will be added to the final payment
- Any extras added after the final payment to be paid at the time of addition to booking.
- If the booking was made under the 'non refundable' terms, the total amount will be debited at the time of the booking (the discount of 15 GBP is not available on these prices).

Methods of payment accepted:
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, cheques*, holiday vouchers*.
*(only for reservations made more than a month before arrival).
For payments desired by cheque or holiday vouchers the deposit must be paid by way of debit/credit card - Visa, Mastercard, American Express and the second and/or third payment can be made by cheque or holiday voucher.
Arrival date less than 40 days: The total amount of the booking must be paid in full online, by debit/credit card at the time of booking.

Cancellation Conditions

More than 30 days before the date of arrival : free cancellation
If you wish to cancel your reservation, the following amounts will be retained :
- Between 30 and 21 days before the date of arrival : 45% of the price of the holiday
- Between 20 and 8 days before the date of arrival : 60% of the price of the holiday
- Between 7 and 4 days before the date of arrival : 90% of the price of the holiday
- Less than 4 days before the date of arrival, no show, interruption, early departure : 100% of the price of the holiday.
