Located in the heart of the largest ski area in the French Pyrenees, the 3-star Tourmalet residence consists of three buildings featuring typical Pyrenean architecture and overlooking the resort, with breathtaking views of the slopes and the Pic du Midi observatory.

The apartments

The Residence's apartments are all equipped to maximize your comfort.
Each apartment is equipped with a kitchen featuring a ceramic hob, fridge with freezer, microwave/grill, dishwasher, kettle, and electric coffee maker. Enjoy delightful meals in the dining area and unwind in front of the flat-screen TV with French TNT channels. A desk is also available in the living area. Stay connected with free Basic Access Wi-Fi. The bathrooms are fitted with a bathtub and separate WC (except in apartments adapted for people with reduced mobility).
Furthermore, each apartment boasts a south-facing terrace or loggia, complete with garden furniture, offering breathtaking views of the slopes and mountains.

Benefits

From December to April, a free shuttle service is available 50 meters from the residence, connecting the center of the resort and the ski lifts on average every 15 minutes.
All beds are equipped with fleece blankets. Basic Access Wi-Fi (for email checking and internet access) is available at the reception, in the lounges, and in the accommodations.
During the winter, each apartment has a ski locker in a closed room located in the main building or in the chalets. In the summer, a bicycle storage room is available.
A secure luggage storage room with lock is accessible in the reception hall.
A covered parking space can be allocated per apartment (limited height to 2 meters), subject to availability upon arrival. The license plate of the parked vehicle will be required.
A lending service is offered, subject to availability, for items such as hairdryers, vacuum cleaners, board games, table tennis rackets, bed barriers, and mattress toppers.
An on-site troubleshooting service is provided by a technician as soon as possible during the reception opening hours.

The resort

Located in the Hautes-Pyrénées, at the foot of the majestic Pic du Midi de Bigorre, the ski resort of La Mongie, in collaboration with Barèges, forms the Grand Tourmalet-Pic du Midi, the largest ski area in the French Pyrenees. The two resorts offer a unique and complementary experience.

On one side, Barèges, on the western slope, retains all the charm, authenticity, and conviviality of a Pyrenean village, with its stone and slate barns and shepherd's huts. Today, Barèges combines relaxation, sports, and thermalism, making it a unique tourist destination.

On the other side, on the eastern slope, La Mongie offers all the amenities of a ski resort at the foot of the slopes, in a high mountain environment where all forms of skiing are possible. Here, the atmosphere is 100% mountain, and you can put on your skis as soon as you leave your accommodation. All the necessary shops are within reach.

Dominating these two stations, the Pic du Midi invites you, from its summit, to explore a new exceptional "freeride space.

Ski resort

Discover the Tourmalet ski area, a must-visit destination for ski enthusiasts.

With a total of 58 slopes, including 26% green, 41% blue, 26% red, and 7% black, the area offers a variety of difficulty levels to suit all skiers. The 100 km of slopes are served by 27 ski lifts, allowing easy exploration of the area. The maximum altitude of the area reaches 2,500 m, ensuring quality snow throughout the ski season
