The resort overlooks some of the most breath-taking views that the French Alps have to offer, including an up close panorama of Le Grand Ferrand Mountain and its 2759m peak. The resort itself is located in the most picturesque part of the unspoilt Hautes Alpes; a region of alpine mountains and forests between Gap and Grenoble with an altitude of more than 1500m. Our property has a superb, central location just 200m from the mountain and a short walk away from the shops and other amenities that Super Dévoluy has to offer.

Get back to Nature
In the summer months, Super Dévoluy is a must for outdoor enthusiasts. Guests can enjoy the stunning mountain views for miles around, a brilliant blue sky with bright sunshine and a rugged, mineral rich landscape. The nature of the resort is under strict conservation protection and nature lovers are encouraged to enjoy the unusual flowers, plants, and wildlife which make their home here. Animals which you ... Hike and bike
Hiking is extremely popular in Super Dévoluy during the summer and there are many different types of walks on offer. For a gentle stroll that the whole family can enjoy, simply follow the marked footpaths at the Gorges des Etroits or the beautiful trails at the Pic de Bure. There are also guided hikes available, and for a reasonable price of between Eu12 and Eu30 a fully qualified instructor will guide you and your group through the challenging treks of St Disdier.
Many of these trails are also suitable for cycling and the resort has mountain bike rental facilities as well as cycle paths which are perfectly suited to every type of cyclist from beginner to expert. These trails include a six-mile downhill path and challenging uphill trails.
Scale the heights
Experience both the highs and lows of Super Dévoluy by braving the dizzying heights of the resort's via ferrata (iron road) and cliff climbing courses, as well as exploring the local caves. There are many different climbing spots in the region, all of which provide an exhilarating and memorable day out, as well as stunning views for miles around. Kids can also enjoy some high climbing at the resort's two tree top adventure parks, suitable for children aged five and over. Zip lines and rope climbs range from 15m to 105m above the alpine canopies so children of all ages and abilities can join in the fun.
Massage in the mountains
After a long day of being out and about in the bright sunshine of the French Alps, many guests enjoy getting involved in some indoor activities. There is an indoor sports centre which offers activities such as tennis, badminton, and squash, and the resort also boasts a luxurious spa where guests can unwind and receive some first-rate pampering. At these restaurants you can order the fondue and chocolate dishes that the region is famous for. Nights out in Super Dévoluy are all about having a drink and a good conversation with new friends and old in a warm, welcoming setting. The overall atmosphere of the resort is fun and friendly, and this can be seen in all of the nightlife venues on offer. There are a few bars situated very close to the slopes which are popular après ski spots during the winter and a great choice for quiet nights out in the summer. The liveliest of these slope side venues is Le Village Pub which remains busy throughout the evening.
For sophistication and a chic night out, head to The Sans Sousi which is well known locally for serving some of the best cocktails around. There is only one notable nightclub in the resort; the La Fornaise Disco. Located next to the cinema in the heart of Super Dévoluy, this lively nightlife hotspot plays a wide selection of upbeat music, serves some delicious but expensive drinks, and remains open until the very early hours.
The majority of ski lifts in and around Super Dévoluy only remain open between the months of December and April. However, there are a few lifts which service mountain bike users which are available for Eu14 per daily pass. There is also one pedestrian lift which stays open in the summer. Six day passes for this lift can be purchased for Eu165 per adult and Eu132 per child.

There are plenty of childcare facilities available in Super Dévoluy. Garderie Les P'tits Lutins is a reputable nursery centre which provides fun and responsible childcare for children between the ages of 15 months to six years. This is a good place for your kids to spend time with some children their own age and get involved with both indoor and outdoor activities and games. There are also private nanny providers in and around the resort.
Indoor parking in covered car parks is available in the winter, although during the summer this is not a necessity. There are plenty of free parking spaces in the resort, close to shops, accommodation and other amenities. There are also many free parking spaces in the neighbouring resort of La Joue de Loup and in the valley itself.
